Harry Edward Styles was born
in Worcestershire, England, on February 1, 1994. His parents’ names were Des and
Anne styles, but when he was a child, got a divorce. Anne now is remarried to a
man named Robin Twist. He also had an older named Gemma. Harry went to school
at Homes Chapel Comprehensive School. He there meet 3 guys and they all formed
a band called “White Eskimos” where he was the lead singer. He also worked in a
bakery when he was 16.
At the age of 16 in 2010,
harry auditioned for the famous singing TV show called “The X-Factor”, where he
was gladly accepted by the judges. He sang “Isn’t She Lovely” for his audition.
Later on in the competition he sang “Stop Crying Your Heart Out.” He was cut
from the show and was about to go home. Simon Cowell decided that he was too
good to let go, but not good enough on his own, so instead of Harry going home,
he got put in a band with five other boys. Their names were Louis, Niall, Zayn,
and Liam.
One Direction was the name
of the band that Harry Styles himself came up with, which all the other boys
agreed with. He was the youngest member of the band, only a couple months behind
the others. He sang lead vocal on the X-Factor with his band mate Liam Payne.
They then all moved on with the competition and ended up getting in the final 3.
They lost but got signed for a singing record label. His singing dream came
true.
